Obituary Notices

Sub-Lieutenant Gerald Owen formerly of the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm flew Seafires during the Second World War.  An active member of the Society and associated with our Porthcawl Roundel.  Gerald having fallen at his home was taken to hospital and appeared to recover and intended returning home, unfortunately he passed away on 27 February 2022.

Tim Davies (1938-2022) was the former owner and pilot of Spitfire MH434 between 1963 and 1967 and co-owner with John Fairey of MT818 between 1968 and 1976.

Carolyn Grace (1952-2022) the owner and pilot of Spitfire ML407 died in an accident on 2 December 2022.

Flight Lieutenant Rufus Heald (1925-2022) a Spitfire pilot at the end of the Second World War and a member of the Society died on 1 December 2022.
