Update on Mobile Spitfire Simulator
The Control System for the SpitKit Airframe is progressing well: the Column Module is complete, as is the Rudder Pedal Module. See the first picture.
The Control System for the Alloy Monocoque Airframe, Front Section, is also well advanced. The Rudder Module is complete, while the Column is almost finished - with just the Spadegrip with the Mk V rocker gun button to be completed to bring it up to the same stage. The second picture shows the Seat with fixed height frame for this second Simulator - but seen with a Mk IX Column and Rudder. This seat will be quickly
to allow the entry of wheelchairs into the Airframe.
The Throttle Quadrant Modules for both are well on the way, as are the Elevator Trim and Rudder Bias Controls.
